- Take 1/3 tsp Turmeric powder
- Take 1/2 tsp garam masala
- Take 1/2 tsp Lemon juice
Steps to make Stuff rice dumplings-
- Soak rice in water for about 1 hour. Then grind fresh coconut and soaked rice adding just.required water. Then in kadai take oil add mustard seeds cumin seeds,red chilli, urad dal chana dal and add rice paste. Stir, continuously. till it forms a dough.
- For filling add all ingredients listed in for filling list and slightly cool it for a few minutes and keep it aside.
- Now take ball sized dough and make a cavity in it and stop the feeling place all the dumplings in a steamer and steam it for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes check with a toothpick.
- Now in 15 minutes rice dumplings are ready to eat. Plain dumpling tastes yummy with garlic chutney or coconut chutney.
